The single bay My Cloud is at it’s core a low cost local network attached storage device with limited remote access capabilities and limited features. Doesn’t matter what marketing terms WD is using and what assumptions the customer is making when they hear the word “cloud”. The single bay My Cloud is not like Google Drive or other online storage services. I’m really disappointed and hope I can find a working product from another brand. Others: Please, stop saying this is not like google drive… the product is being sold like a personal cloud and MUST work like one.
